| By exchanging $200, look what we've gotten?! |
It took us less than an hour to reach Batam. We arrived at 10 in the morning and had our breakfast there. Then we went to exchange more money. By the way, it's more worthwhile to exchange money there than in our home country! My aunt then went to look for a tour guide as well as rented a van.
The first stop is a temple. I know, I know, you must be thinking: Temple? Why do you visit that?! That was my thinking too when I first knew we were going to a temple. BUT, guys... it was far better than expected. The temple was really grand and nice! I think it's also a good idea to visit a temple when you first arrive to other country (for blessing purposes). =D

| It's grand and magnificent! |
We also went to visit a Guan Yin which is one of the biggest I've ever seen! From there, we could actually see Resorts World at the other end! After this, we went to a mall, well, forgotten the name...hehe, anyway, I will not recommend you to go there if you are looking for high quality stuffs. As I can see, the bags sold there are fake. I am not an expert in bags but I can tell that a Prada bag will not be priced at $30 right? This is how I differentiate between real and fake branded bags. =)
This is pretty much what we've done there. Oh ya, I forgot! We also bought a Kuih Lapis (Layered cake) there! It was reasonably priced at $20 and it tasted quite nice. We went home at around 6pm, all dead tired cause almost all of us slept on the way back to Harbour Front. I would rate this trip 6.5 out of 10. If you ask me what I enjoyed most this trip, I would say the ferry ride seriously...
