Travel: Travelling essentials

24th December 2012 (Christmas eve), which is tomorrow, my family and I are going to visit Kuala Lumpur (KL)!!! I am so so sooo excited because it has been too long ago since I last visit there! Now, I'm going to share some of the travelling essentials that I will bring and hopefully this article will be useful to all of you too. =)

A summary on the items to bring:

• Earpiece
• Phone Charger
• Toothbrush & toothpaste
• Creams & lotions
• Lip balm
• Snacks & mineral water
• Jacket/ Scarf
• Dry tissues & moist tissues
• Slippers
• Comb & Hair dryer
• Perfume
• Card games

It takes around 3.5 hours to travel to KL. For me, I don't enjoy long journey rides. I am not the kind who will sleep all the way in the car, so I think it's important to fully charge your phone before hand so that you can use it during the ride. I use it to listen to music mostly and also play games. Therefore, I would like to highlight that it is definitely a MUST to bring along your earpiece. Bring the one with better quality cause the ride is going to be really long.

My current earpiece, Audio Technica, $28, considered very good quality with its affordable price.

I will always bring mineral water to keep myself hydrated. Not to forget, I will bring some snacks too so that I can munch along the way. Tissues are also something very important! I like to bring packets of soft tissues cause it saves space but at the same time it provides the same purpose. Furthermore, I will bring moist tissues along cause you might need it during the rides when you can't have access to water easily.

Kleenex is really soft and comfy. LOVE!

Bought this from NTUC at very affordable price. Not my favourite scent though. =(

I am someone who can't stand coldness, so I bring along jacket wherever I go. (Just in case). During car rides, the air-condition can be quite strong and you might need it with you. If you are already wearing long sleeve shirt, you might just need a scarf to cover up yourself. Once you are in an air-conditioned place, you need a nice lip balm too cause I don't think any of you want to have chapped lips right? Haha

Maybelline baby lip balm, $5.90 AND it has great smell and it works so well too!!!

I love perfumes! They smelled so nice. Sometimes, the bottle is too big to bring along for travelling. But I found this mini perfume from DKNY and it is so cute, just the right size to bring during travelling!

The one on the extreme upper left corner, so cute right?! It costs around $158 to purchase this whole set (I think) but it smells so good and it can last for quite long!

That's pretty much most of the things I would bring. Also another tip would be to pack your bag earlier so that you could have some time to recall what you have forgotten to bring. Haha, this is actually what my mum told me and I think it is quite useful. Have an early night and enjoy your trip!
