Food: Garden Salad

Hi everyone! Today, I'm writing on how to make your own garden salad. It is super easy to be prepared and I guess it takes around 20 minutes to get it done.

Ingredients that you need:
  • Lettuce
  • Honey cherry tomato
  • Lime
  • Sugar
  • Mango (Optional)
  • Salmon (Optional)
As today is the first time for me to try making salad, I opted out mango and salmon. I want to keep it as simple as possible~ As the market that I went does NOT offer small bottle of salad dressings, I decided to make my own salad dressing using lime and sugar. I don't want to buy big bottle of salad dressings just in case it doesn't taste good and I would not know what to do with the rests of it.

Let's get started with the salad dressing. I use 3 limes in total. All you need to do is to cut them in halves and squeeze out the lime juice. I don't want the dressing to taste so sour, so I added a teaspoon of sugar and started mixing them. Put the dressing aside and settle for a while.

They tasted so awesome!

Next, take as many cherry tomatoes as you want. (I took out a lot because I LOVE tomatoes.) Cut them in halves just like what I did for the lime.

Before & After

Take the lettuce and cut them into small pieces. Put the lettuce and cherry tomatoes into a big bowl. Finally , pour in the lime juice dressing and I'm done with my salad! Remember that I mentioned the optional mango and salmon? Okay, that's the advance version of this salad. Haha

Sorry for the poor photo quality. =(

If you wanted it have better taste, if you are hardworking, if you are free, DO THE ADVANCE VERSION!!! Steam the salmon piece till it's fully cooked. Tear the salmon piece into small chunks. Add them to the salad. Cut the mango into small little cubes and add them to the salad too! That's the extra part for the advance version. =D

Its like you read my thoughts! You appear to understand a lot about this, such as you wrote
the guide in it or something. I feel that you can do with a few percent to pressure the message house a bit, however instead of that, this is great blog.
A great read. I'll certainly be back.
